Biography

I was born and raised in Rochester, New York.  Though I grew up Catholic, I accepted Christ in the early 80’s at the First Baptist Church of Roswell, Georgia while dating my wife Valerie.  We have three children. Our oldest, Jessica, is studying at Leo University to be a primary school art teacher.  Jordan, is attending Hillsborough Community College and is studying to be a Firefighter for the City of Tampa.  Jenna, our youngest, is still in high school and is considering interpreting for the deaf as a career.  Valerie and I will be celebrating 22 years of marriage in October of 2010.  I have an Associates degree in Ornamental Horticulture and practical experience in a vineyard in Naples, NY (John 15:5).  I’ve been teaching Sunday school for over twenty years, focusing on marriage and parenting.  I’ve been ordained at FBC Lutz as Deacon/Pastor.  My professional career has uniquely prepared me for Administrative Ministry.  My experiences have included overseeing landscape maintenance operations for seven Florida counties and acting as executive housekeeper for a 245 suite hotel.  My desire is to be a good steward over all the resources that God has so richly provided for First Baptist Church of Lutz.
