Ride On Ministry

What We Do
What We Do

Ride On is a ministry run and supported by dedicated, mechanically adept volunteers who perform preventative maintenance and non-cosmetic repairs. Priority is given to those with auto problems that impede transportation for employment, getting children to and from school/daycare, families to church, and other necessities of daily living.

To apply the grace of God to those in need for His glory through automotive support.
Our Mission

Who is Elegible?

Widows/widowers, single moms, low-income heads of family, folks on fixed incomes/disability, unemployed due to unreliable transportation

Cost:

Ride On never charges for labor, but we do ask patrons to pay for parts if they can. No warranty is provided; we simply do our best to get our patrons’ cars back on the road.

Service Day and Time:

Ride On is the third Saturday of each month between 8am-2pm by appointment only.

Make an Appointment

You must call the church office at (813) 949-7495 prior to the Ride On date to get on the list. A limited number of cars are accepted each month, so calling early is best. You will be notified the night before Ride On with your appointment time.

Please be patient

Although we schedule appointments carefully, wait times vary due to variables such as the number of volunteers, the complexity of the job, fetching parts, etc..

Tidy up your car

Take advantage of the free shop vac and garbage containers.

An extra set of hands or a parts runner are always needed!

Help keep the shop neat

Help us by tidying up what you see needs tidying up.
